About this app

Pocket Paint is a paint editor that, among
other things, allows setting parts of pictures to transparent and zooming up to
pixel level. It is integrated into Pocket Code
--- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.catrobat.catroid ---
but can also be used on its own.

Images are saved under Photos and Gallery as well as in the \"Pocket Paint\"
folder on the SD card.

Pocket Paint is developed by the free and open source non-profit Catrobat
project --- http://catrobat.org/ ---

Enjoy!

Lets you actually draw and use eyedropper tool!! All the art apps are full of weird features that get in the way, tons of ads and core functions locked down behind a paywall. Most image editing apps either only offer filters and cropping and no manual drawing abilities, or they force you to use a pen/highlighter in only a few preselected colors. Ths is just a straight up paint app!! it's amazing.

Been on app for 30 minutes, has everything I wanted, something similar to ms paint, without extras and integrations. So far so good, although I need to check in the settings more, hopefully there is an option to alter the gui aesthetic. Overall, easy to use, layers, multiple file formats, at free and no adds. May well have a permanent spot on my Galaxy. I'll edit if something changes, good, bad or otherwise.

Worked great for a while, maybe 10+ seperate uses before it started crashing. Used it off and on for the majority of the day today. Out of nowhere the app crashed and would not open, I cleared the cache, restarted my phone, verified app was up to date and still no luck. I was in the middle of touching up a photo and no may have to restart the whole process.
