Nextcloud is amazing! been using it for years on my own self-hosted server. great way to de-google your life a little bit and take control of your own data. I run two nextcloud servers, one for my business and a personal one. and it's great! the calendar and contacts function is awesome. there's tons of 3rd party apps you can use with it as well.

There is no way to manually trigger uploads for the auto-upload. After reviewing the forums and githb, it seems like the Devs never address any of the MANY posts requesting it. I don't really understand the logic, a simple 'force check' option would solve so many peoples problems, yet they refuse and just close out most of the reports without comment. It makes no sense at all. They implemented some pause feature long ago, but it doesn't do anything useful for me (or many others it seems).

Energy Synchronized
Once it's set up, it syncs great most of the time. However actually getting it set up is like pulling teeth. When it first tries to upload all my files, it fails over and over but eventually finishes. Recently it randomly disabled all my synced folders, and it's refusing to upload anything (this happens every once in a while but works eventually). As a file explorer it's mostly useless since everything takes forever unlike in the browser.
