Edit: they added a back up and restore which is great, but now the app has issues opening. and yes, I tried uninstall and reinstall. it's not helping. it keeps force closing. again. at this point it's not worth it to keep trying. the app has been great, but now keeps force closing. I contacted Phillips and the only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall it.. however if you do this, you lose all progress. my son is over 700 brushings. There needs to be a way to back up and restore data.

Apologies for the crashing issue, Angie. We're working on a fix that should be released next week. We've added a back-up and restore feature: please enable it to keep record of your progress and to be able to grant brushing credit after the fix is applied.Contact us on our website if you need assistance with this feature or have any other questions

The biggest issue with the app is that it forgets rewards between sessions. For instance, tonight my son earned food for his pet. But after closing and reopening the app, that reward is no longer there. This is having the effect of discouraging my son from wanting to use the app. Otherwise, the app is just "ok". The brushing video is fine, but the initial Bluetooth sync is temperamental (don't touch anything in the app until you hear the connrct tone).

The app has recently been messing up. it backs up (which is great) but when it tries to restore it resends on all the presents through and they have to open them one by one. For some reason, it restores itself once a week so we have to go through this process with multiple kids. the calendar won't work occasionally if they want to ask for credit when I'm not there you cant get in (click and click and nothing happens). it would also be nice if the parent could give credit without being asked.
